Member Surveys

There is no more effective method for statistically quantifying the general feelings and interests of the members than by conducting a survey. A survey can be focused on the specific areas of concern, whether they are golf, tennis, swimming, food and beverage, member activities or economic, policy or capital improvement issues. In conjunction with Focus Group Sessions, a member survey can be designed to target the club's central issues and obtain a statistical response.
Survey results provide the rationale for decision-making. In some cases, survey results are the only way to resolve polarized or deadlocked issues. Knowing where the members stand on certain issues can make all the difference between a "Yes" and a "No" vote. Surveys also have the additional benefit of setting up a baseline for future measurement. Periodic surveys can be done to determine trends and patterns as well as to monitor improvements, satisfaction levels and achievements.
